Wolf Blitzer, he's just soooooooo librul...
I have a homeless friend who told me a few weeks ago that talk radio is the only place that Republicans have a voice. He was going on about how liberals own the courts, the media etc. I was like:"WTF are you talking about?" Then after another minute or so of conversation in which I was explaining him how the media isn't liberal, he goes "what about Wolf Blitzer?" hahaha And, he started talking about how liberal Blitzer is, oh I about died. But anyway, this guy he's homeless, as I said, and the only thing he has is a radio, so he loves Rush, O'Reilly and those guys. I was thinking to myself that he probably never has seen Blitzer's show because, well, I mean the guy sleeps out in a dry river bed. But yeah, he's a decent guy and all, had a tough go of things, an alcohol problem. It's just tough to see somebody in that situation allow himself to get brainwashed like that. But ever since then, whenever I see Blitzer on tv, doing his same status quo kiss-ass stuff, I just always say to myself, sometimes out loud: "Wolf Blitzer, he's just soooooooo librul." Either that or I'll look over at my brother and say: "Damn, Blitzer's too librul for me!" :)

1. Make him some tapes and give him a source to listen to them. Doesn't
he know that according to the drug addict rust that the homeless do not exist?

2. I should burn of a few cds for him
Last week my brother told him about the O'Reilly falafel/loofah thing. And, some of his other hypocrisies. He never heard any of that before, poor guy. He wasn't too keen on the Big Giant Head after that. :)

3. You know, at this point if you that person can't figure it out
on their own, there is no hope for them. I've been thinking this past week and have noticed that repukes have learned truth doesn't matter anymore on the media. They just flat out lie because no one has the gall to just laugh in their faces on any show. Bush is got lying about the hurricane this week and the WH spin is the dems are making this an unfair issue. I laughed out loud when I heard this but the media is silent. Cheney didn't shoot anyone. He got in the way. It's a friggin joke at this point to expect the media to report.

4. well if Dick Cheney shoots somebody on his own time it's none of our
business! Duh! :)

This guy, it just blew me away that a homeless guy would be a Conservative sheep like that. Yikes!

5. Well, since he has no address, I suspect he can't vote!
I've about given up on trying to persuade any true ditto heads that the're wrong. They've been brainwashed for way too long. At least guys like your homeless one probably can't vote, and I'm hoping the rest of them get upset enough that they'll just stay home on election day.

7. yup, that would be a tough one to get around
No address and all. :)

So how'd you come up with the name "Napi," btw? I'm a Blackfeet Indian and "Napi" is a Blackfeet word that I think is translated to mean "white." :)

8. Actually, homeless shelters will either work with the person to get a PO
box or allow mail to be delivered there.

10. yeah, I think he knows a lady that lets him use
her mailing address. I help him out not too long ago. Gave him some info so he can get Section 8 and maybe get into a place one of these days. Nobody deserves to live like that, you know?

14. I believe in helping somebody in need
Edited on Sun Mar-05-06 01:36 PM by Wetzelbill
I may not have much, but I have a home, a family that loves me, my intellect and I have no addictions or anything like that. If he comes by and needs to use the phone or if him and his homeless friend come over I automatically ask them if they want something to eat etc. I don't mind giving them a little change or a buck or two either, even if I know they just use it to buy a beer. I'm not going to judge them for that. I just think not enough people have enough compassion for those less fortunate. I would like to think that somebody would help me out if I needed it, you know? :) But yes, thank you.

15. "Big Smile"! It's my little dog's nickname.
His name is Napoleon. He's a little white fluffy Bichon who thinks he's a big intimidating warrior!:-) We named him Napoleon when he was 7 weeks old, and acted like he was such a big tough guy with his 3 pound body. He's now 16 years old and blind, but still is a little Napoleon!

In 1998 I started a business, and thought long and hard about what to name it. I finally decided on Napi's Corner, and of course my logo is a pic of my little Napi.

9. yeah it blows me away
I was shocked one day when I first heard him spouting RW stuff. Just floored me. He started saying "Liberals this liberals that." So I said, "Hey, I'm liberal do you have a problem with that?" And, he couldn't believe I got aggressive. I was glaring at him, it was wild, because he was getting pretty ignorant saying shit that just wasn't cool. He didn't realize my brother and I were Dems. I didn't really know him all that much then, it jerked my chain. But he started saying: "Oh no, that's what America is all about, we all have our different opinions etc." It still just blows my mind though. I can't grasp that a homeless guy could be a RWer.

11. Next time ask him why he isn't demanding the return of the "Fairness Act"
Always baffled me. They don't want fairness in broadcasting but yet play the victim constantly...

12. A homeless guy who loves Rush? Rush and the
rest of the wingnuts despise the poor and homeless believing it's their own goddamn fault that they didn't grab the American dream brass ring and make millions telling lies on the radio or ripping off their fellow man. Your friend needs some social services, the kind established and funded by Democrats. I hope he gets some help and back on his feet.
