Lectures and their materials are property of the university where they are delivered, and from what I understand you can't record them without consent of the professor.
He just shopped for publicity. If he was truly concerned he could have stood up for his beliefs in class. But it wouldn't have bought him the free publicity for his hoped for career. Faux and he totally misused each other in a hope for killing the freedom of a teacher to teach.
The snivvling little sissy has become so unpopular at school, he started staying home. Typical chickenhawk who wants to stir up some $#!+, but lacks the cojones to get involved in it.
10. What if it was a teacher preaching Bush was annointed by god.
Would we be as quick to support the instructor. He may have been trying to get his students to think - if so more power to him but if he was trying to use his position to indoctrinate students thats a problem.
