President Discusses Strong U.S.-India Partnership in New Delhi, India
Purana Qila
New Delhi, India

<snip>

The second great purpose is to confront the threats of our time by fighting terror and advancing freedom across the globe. Both our nations have known the pain of terror on our home soil. On September the 11th, 2001, nearly 3,000 innocent people were murdered in my country, including more than 30 who were born in India. Just over three months ago, terrorists struck the Parliament House here in Delhi, an attack on the heart of Indian democracy.

...

Tonight I will leave India to travel to Pakistan, another important partner and friend of the United States. There was a time when America's good relations with Pakistan would have been a source of concern here in India. That day is passed. India is better off because America has a close relationship with Pakistan, and Pakistan is better off because America has a close relation with India. On my trip to Islamabad, I will meet with President Musharraf to discuss Pakistan's vital cooperation in the war on terror and our efforts to foster economic and political development so we can reduce the appeal of radical Islam. I believe that a prosperous, democratic Pakistan will be a steadfast partner for America, a peaceful neighbor for India, and a force for freedom and moderation in the Arab world.

President Discusses Iraqi Elections, Victory in the War on Terror

<snip>

I've come to discuss an issue of vital importance to the American people, and that is: Victory in the war on terror. On September the 11th, 2001, our nation awoke to a sudden attack, and we accepted new responsibilities. We are confronting new dangers with firm resolve. We're hunting down the terrorists and their supporters. We will fight this war without wavering -- and we will prevail. (Applause.)

...

We are living through a watershed moment in the story of freedom. Most of the focus now is on this week's elections -- and rightly so. Iraqis will go to the polls to choose a government that will be the only constitutional democracy in the Arab world. Yet we need to remember that these elections are also a vital part of a broader strategy for protecting the American people against the threat of terrorism.

...

The work ahead will also require continued sacrifice. Yet we can be confident, because history has shown the power of freedom to overcome tyranny. And we can be confident because we have on our side the greatest force for freedom in human history: the men and women of the United States Armed Forces. (Applause.)

1. How much stuff do you think this guy can learn? All his speeches are
recycled crap. He has one 'terra speech', one 'SOTU' speech, one 'let me reassure you' speech, and one 'traveling' speech, and one 'the economy is just a cookin' along' speech'. Oh yeah, one 'speech in the face of a natural disaster' speech'.

And that was pushing it. They just hope that he can wing it and try to make it fit wherever he's at at the time.

3. I think Karen Hughes is just faxing them over
This second day in Pakistan wasn't originally released to the press. They claimed it was a secret all along, but I suspect he's reluctant to return home until his policy handlers defuse the Dubai deal and the India nukes agreement.

Arriving home today gives him another weekend before facing the American press.
Well, I guess he never answers to anyone, but he enjoys some insulation when abroad.

5. I might be wrong but
I do not believe Pakistan is an Arab country. Am I correct on this. Maybe the media did not pick up on this and you know they all try to help the warhardon president as much as possible....In our hour of need, please G-d send us a sign. Praying if it is a sign it will be one that shows the road bearing to the LEFT.

6. You are right, Pakistan is NOT an Arab country. Neither is Iran...
But to the Bushistas they are probably all "sand niggers".
