1. Would appreciate info later -- I can't get vids and radio to play on
my computer. Tried to download Feingold's audio of his speech against the "Patriot" Act and after an hour of downloading gave up but am Very interested in any movement to stop the horrific bush atrocities against human beings by propagandizing them as the enemy or "animals" not worthy of life, including Arabs, liberals and poor blacks witness Katrina OBSTRUCTION OF LIFE SAVING AID which is a Crime Against Humanity by itself.

2. John's got a very good point. I only wish I had teachers like him
when I was in school. His opinion is that teachers should be able to say almost anything, as long as they are not punishing students for disagreeing with them. Challenge the students to have their own opinions, and then argue their side.

When I was in school, we were never allowed to argue with the teacher. In fact I got in some pretty hot water because ONE TIME a teacher said something, then said "Is there anyone who disagrees with that?" I was the only one who said "Yes, I do." Even the rest of the class gasped.

3. I had a high school history teacher who purposely changed
political positions in class just to get a rise out of us. The whole point was to examine and criticize decisions, not to just accept them as a fait accompli.
