I'M NOT SAYING BUSH IS JUST LIKE HITLER BUT...
Edited on Fri Mar-03-06 01:23 PM by Ava
THERE ARE A LOT OF SIMILARTIES.

In honor of a courageous teacher standing up and stating the
FACTS(not his opinion) I'm posting an old animation of mine
that views the similarities between Bush and Hitler.

History Repeating: http://www.peacetakescourage.com/HistoryRepeating.html

Please let me know what you think. This is an older animation
of mine and one of the first I made.

1. He's like Hitler in the early days. :D
Before he really ramped up the fascist war machine.

Bush is like Hitler in the 30's.

He also never choked on a pretzel or fell off a bicycle...

makes out to be. for example, before the was elected as president, he spoke without the "uh's" and long breaks of silence, and he could pernounce words correctly.

Try reading Mein Kampf - absolute nonsense.

Anyway, he had great taste for a nice little cottage, away from it all, or should I say Göring, Speer and others picked a great place for his 50th birthday present.

That is very nicely done and oh so scary!!! If anyone does not believe that history does in fact repeat it self they need to see this.
Hopefully we have enough smart people in this country to expose this evil empire before it is too late.

13. I have a good Hitler joke...
I found this while I was doing a term paper on the Third Reich in college. It was a joke that was circulating around Germany during WWII.

Why does Hitler stand with his hands covering his privates?
He's hiding the last unemployed member of the Third Reich

19. "eery similarities."
My toddler repeated 'eery' for a while after listening to the guy's rant.

I don't buy the 'critical thinking' claim, it's simply too facile; if he was teaching 'critical thinking', it means something completely different from what it meant in the '70s and in grad school in the '90s. He was pissed off at *'s speech the night before, and ranted. Then at some point he paused, and resumed his normal lecture; there was no summary, no tie-in to the class, no explication of how his claims was an example of critical thinking.

To approach the range of topics he did and engage in critical thinking would have taken many, many months of classes. Unless one accepts his assertions as true without, well, critical thinking. It's one thing for a 40-year-old to listen to him; another thing for a teenager.

I have been saying that this is where the Democratic party is losing the battle...we have no effective media out there hammering at the citizens...they are prime and ready to see this type of media now...

The music is perfect...I have always wondered who wrote that piece...

24. I think they are very dissimilar
Edited on Fri Mar-03-06 01:42 PM by PATRICK
As much as a spoiled rich kid is versus a middle class war vet. When you get to the world of ideas and tactics, there the proof is in the pudding. Both men picked up and enlarged upon anything that would denigrate foes or scapegoats, advance and mythologize their ambitions, utilize thugs for those goals, swell in power with supreme entitlement, maintain and aggravate all their old flaws, posture cynically while enjoying every minute of it. Some of those things are the venue of any politician in a way. There again the proof is in the specific actions, the specific results and the particular character of their real thought structure.

At least Hitler, in confinement, tried to write a book. Bush wouldn't bother reading one except for a brief photo op. Nor would Bush dare glory or risk in war or politics. Nor would he actually DO anything for the worker or common man before or after enslaving them. The Bush tangle of oil alliances disguises a lot of not too convenient prejudices although they dislike women in real valuation. They are no stronger in personal religious faith but more quiet in seeking to create a personal cult twisted to their own aggrandizement.

If you switched both men suddenly what would be the result? Bush would rise to power more smoothly and pick his wars more cowardly and sneakily. His posing would be more outrageous than it was tailored for the US. The corporations would so gut the war machine and economy that perhaps nothing might have worked.
Now Hitler in the US would have posed more affably and McCain-like, more populist. He would have enlisted the same thugs Bush has, been less patient with the sprawling media lean toward the RW, less patient with the Christian Right. The oil wars would have been more blunt and quick. We would be in iran and Saudi Arabia by now. But Hitler might have melted down faster than Watergate Dick before the pressure Junior just shrugged off.

The times and class formed these two punks, mismatched in many ways. The real similarity is in the RW corporate agenda, the tactics of power conditioned for that modern ideology and classic tyranny. To single out Bush is to forget his party, far older and morphing since the Civil War and to let off the hook the real villains buying up the stage and scenery every single time- the specific super corporations and specific money merchants.

Except for the fact that in the Bushes we ALSO have represented the economic renegades behind the scenes. As a chosen represenetative of that clique of unaccountable manipulators he should drag them all down as Hitler did the Nazi Party.

Our checks & balance system is one key protection we have (rather, had) against having a fascist government. Payoffs to Diebold have taken care of that pesky safeguard, however.

26. I've been saying the same thing for years, but to be
really correct Bush isn't really like Hitler, but the people he surrounds himself with and his policies are very much like the Third Reich's although not as extreme yet. Thumb through any chapter of "Mein Kampf" and you will see the similarities in the ideology of the neo-cons and the Nazis.

Bush is walking down the same primrose path and if history repeats itself, he and his cabal will come to a bad end. As an unelected fraud, we should have learned our lesson back during Hitler's rise to power, and yet our leaders allowed this man to take power, which is why we are where we are today.

I had always maintained that Al Gore should never have conceded until every last vote in Florida was counted in the 2000 election no matter how long it took. The Supreme Court's decision should had been declared invalid by Congress. They had no provenance in a matter that legally was in the hands of the State of Florida.

If Bill Clinton's presidency had to be extended for a few months until the matter was resolved, Congress should have insisted on it. But I'm not a lawyer so probably am not privy to the legalities involved, however, I really think Al Gore's and the Democratic Party's reasons were more political than legal. If so I hope our party rues the day they sold America down the river.

I'm sorry I didn't see your video because I'm on dial-up and the loading takes forever. Often even then I can't get a decent playback, but I'm sure from what I read on the above comments that it's very good and timely.
