During continuing unrest in the Middle East, one of the leaders will be able to get a hold of an nuclear bomb. He will go to the greatest lengths over the smallest things and will not hesitate to use the weapon because his obsessions with deadly warfare. The people he is warring against retaliate with a nuclear weapon. The country has a coast on the Mediterranean.

One of the bombs will land in the Mediterranean instead of the land, poisoning all the fish. The passages of trade in the region will be disrupted so that the people on the other coast of the Mediterranean will be desperate for food and will eat the fish anyway. It will happen near the east coast of the Mediterranean in a region of dark-colored cliffs.

The nuclear weapon being dropped by one of the Middle Eastern countries will spark off yet another war on top of that war. European and Western nations will try to interfere to diminish the threat to oil supplies. When the European countries try to interfere, the crazed leader who earlier dropped the nuclear bomb will use the rest of his arsenal on Europe, most striking the closer southern part.

The European Mediterranean coast, particularly that of Italy and France, will be almost uninhabitable, and Italy will get the brunt. This leader is not the Antichrist but helps to set the stage for the Antichrist to rise to power with little or no opposition. The Antichrist will wield great power and authority; no one can argue with him.

16. Funny how no one talks about the Nostradamus predictions...

...that didn't happen at all or didn't make any sense. Nostradamus wrote all of his predictions in his own "secret code," which involved using three or more different languages he would switch between, sometimes from word to word. At least one of the languages he used was from some kind of arcane secret society or some such. Anyone who's ever translated languages knows how difficult it can be to translate things verbatim. Imagine how unlikely it would be to accurately translate an amalgam of four or five languages, one of which was invented by a secret society?

The problem is that too many people want so badly to believe in something that they become completely irrational in order to do so. People are so scared that they grasp at anything to make sense of life, whether it's believing in ghosts, religion, or a blatantly-incompetent government that tells you it will take care of everything.

6. I was once interested in Nostradamus in college, read his actual

writings in french and english.

They're interesting, but they're so vague anyone could read anything into them at all.

vague isn't the right word, because they are specific, but written in a sort of internal code that could apply to anything..that's a better way to explain it.

You know how everytime people talk about Bible codes and Nostradamian interpretation, you always hear that the odds of finding the things that find are "incalculable".

Well that's a flat out lie!

In fact, in almost every published work, in any language, if you randomly choose a number sequence, then apply that to each page in all directions, forward or backward, there is only a 30% chance you WON'T FIND SOMETHING! That means 7 out of 10 pages will have a "message". Now, all one needs do is ignore the "messages" that don't fit the need, and discuss those that do.

The people involved in these techniques are flat out liars, because the mathematics to calculate those probabilities is involved, but not that complex. The only way these "researchers" would continue to push "too great to be random chance" line is to lie about it.

First, most english versions are based on a very poor translation of the 16th century French/Langeoucan.

Second, the explanation that N had to write in obscure non-literal form to avoid persucution is simply a cover in order that any quatrain can be interpreted in as many ways as fits the reader.
