America is Being Sold to the Lowest Bidder
Edited on Thu Mar-02-06 06:19 PM by Raydawg1234
The Dubais port deal is just one example of how the powers that be are liquidating America. They are selling our jobs to China, India, etc. They are selling our ports to arab countries. They gave up on American manufacturing in favor of cheap overseas labor. When will they stop? Do they hate America? Or are they just betraying their own to make a quick buck?

Feel free to add to the list!

3. We Need The Money
Hey, it's not their fault we're so far in debt, and that our trade deficit is higher than it's ever been. Well....perhaps it is.

But anyways, we need to start selling some of our stuff, so we can get back some revenue to help pay off that national debt, which is approaching 7.25 TRILLION DOLLARS.

Coming Soon: Yosemite National Park, brought to you by the People's Republic Of China.

10. I'm a little confused here...
I don't disagree with you on the concept, but how is the port deal an example of it? This port hasn't been "ours" for many years? It's just one foreign company we've already sold out to being acquired by another foreign company.

11. With deficit spending I believe we run the printing presses 24 hours a day
Seen any new money lately?
Oh yeah...That's to stop counterfeiters.

If all that new cash stayed here inflation would run wild(er).

The alternative is to send as much money out of the country as possible, but that devalues our dollar against other currency. (I think the Canadian dollar is worth about 83 cents now).
