Happy birthday Russ!!!!

Today, Sen. Russ Feingold turns 53 years old. He probably hasn't had much time to celebrate because he's been working non stop fighting for the constitution and our civil liberties.

We owe him a huge debt of gratitude for his courage in taking on this issue. While the Patriot Act extension that was passed today wasn't the best, it was much better than before thanks to Russ's filibuster in December that forced the White House to compromise.

It's the perfect time to give Sen. Feingold's office a call <[phone] > or donate some money to The Progressive Patriots Fund to thank Sen. Feingold for his hard work and wish him a very happy birthday.
