1. Richardson was dragged, kicking and screaming, to sign this

bill. 17,000 New Mexicans had been disenfranchised by ES&S machines in 2004, and Richardson had refused an audit of the vote.

I guess he's been doing really well with the tax cuts.

There is also a HUGE lawsuit grinding its way through the courts, but don't expect to see anything about it besides a few brief mentions on blogs. This lawsuit is the only reason Richardson was forced to sign that bill: he's hoping to defuse the whole thing.

Stupid didn't win this state, and Richardson is no Democrat.
