7. I am not sure I believe this or not.
Tucker seems to be the only one saying Brownie outted the tape (although we have thought it possible) and we all know that tucker would gladly give blivet** a scapegoat by naming him a "leaker", wouldn't he?

8. DHS said they gave it to Congress "months ago"

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060302/ap_on_go_pr_wh/katr...

.......The footage — along with seven days of transcripts of briefings obtained by The Associated Press — show in excruciating detail that while federal officials anticipated the tragedy that unfolded in New Orleans and elsewhere along the Gulf Coast, they were fatally slow to realize they had not mustered enough resources to deal with the unprecedented disaster.

Linked by secure video, Bush expressed a confidence on Aug. 28 that starkly contrasted with the dire warnings his disaster chief and numerous federal, state and local officials provided during the four days before the storm.

.......

"I hope people don't draw conclusions from the president getting a single briefing," presidential spokesman Trent Duffy said, citing a variety of orders and disaster declarations Bush signed before the storm made landfall. "He received multiple briefings from multiple officials, and he was completely engaged at all times."

Homeland Security spokesman Russ Knocke said his department would not release the full set of videotaped briefings, saying most transcripts — though not the videotapes — from the sessions were provided to congressional investigators months ago.......

Maybe it will be a hunting accident. If this all was a script, think of the most obtuse story...and it will come true.

21. I figured it was Brownie
If the media does its job, and I know that's a big if, Bush will be exposed as being totally out of the loop on the day the storm hit and the day after that. In fact, WaPo did a story claiming WH officials were so afraid to approach Bush and tell him how bad things were in New Orleans, they wound up creating a DVD of all of the various news reports and presented it to Bush the following Thursday after the hurricane hit. WH officials are saying Bush was kept abreast the whole time when in reality, he was in la la land for 4 days after it hit.

It's also interesting to note that the AP exposed the tapes. The AP Board of Directors is extremely conservative so for them to run with this story, well it's a huge shift with the powers that be.

22. The way things are going
Bush is going to be exposed as being totally out of the loop on a lot of things: Katrina, Cheney's Shoot-Out, DP World, Abu Gharib (?) (and I'm sure there are more).

How much more will it take for people to see he's a sock puppet?

25. Olberman said it was posted on FEMA's website the same day...
Said to the effect that it had been sitting there for six months and was just discovered now. Have no link...but that's the jist of what I heard on Countdown tonight. Said it had been posted for access to media. HA!Can anyone else verify this?
