I posted this a while back, but then Dick Cheney shot a guy in the face, sold our ports to the Arabs, and blew up a mosque...or maybe I'm paraphrasing...anyway, it kind of got lost in the uproar. So one more time, here's a BBC article about how oil company profits are basically "earned" by destroying the environment.
