America says "NO!" to ports deal...Bush says, 'ok let's wait 45 days..."

Doesn't Junior get it?

We don't want 45 days. We don't want 100 days.

We don't even need a few hours.

America has spoken. 85 percent of this country--according to the polls--does not want the United Arab Emirates government--which has concrete ties to terrorism--controlling 21 of America's ports!

We don't need 45 days. We don't need an "investigation." We don't need Junior to look further into the security issues. We don't need a Congressional Committee formed. We don't need the opinions of our elected representatives--whom you will bribe, arm-twist and blackmail--during the next 45 days-- until their spines resemble Jell-O and they attempt to sell us this garbage.

La la la la....we aren't listening!

Furthermore, what we really don't need--is you sauntering across the country, spewing out canned speeches to hand-picked audiences full of your bestest fans. We're not interested in watching you traverse this country--talking down to us with that constipated cowboy look on your smarmy face. We're just not interested in hearing how fantastic and secure this deal is.

So zip it. Shut it. Can it. Stop, right where you are--Junior. Unpack your bags, cancel your 50-city "Selling our ports is good bidness!" tour and step away from the podium.

America has spoken and NO MEANS NO!

2. He doesn't listen to polls or focus groups
To him, millions upon millions of dissenters are a "focus group". Oh, and ignore that multi-million dollar polling operation in the White House basement - they really aren't polling, they are catapaulting the propaganda.

The AMerican populace will not tell him what to do especially if it will prevent him or his cronies from making another dollar, even if it cost's more American lives...

5. They just want things to cool off before it goes through.
We have to keep the pressure on and really turn up the volume when the end of the review period is up.

6. Agreed...and the next 45 days should be full of protests!!
That's exactly right.

BushCo thinks that Americas are stupid idiots with the attention span of a mayfly.

They think we'll forget about this and go on about our business.

They're buying time, so they can slip this thing through after the burners have cooled off.

I say---this is the time for massive protests in DC.

We should all be "storming the castle."
