1. I know....hey - Dan "Make No Mistake" Bartlett is nearly up on the....
SITUATION Room! His spewing earlier obviously wasn't enough for Wolfie...unless this is just a tape of his previous effluent.

2. Is the administration using this to get the heat of Cheney?
I mean do they have every intention of backing down, but are letting it play out so the Cheney shooting goes away?

6. What shooting?
Stick a fork in "VP shoots his friend in the face". They probably WISH that was still the big story.

3. Why? Thought He Wasn't Going To Get Away With It?
You felt this time would be different? The Emperor was on a repub ranch, with repub friends, oversought by a repub sheriff's department, and he shot a rich repub buddy.

Then he made his little statement, the guy he shot made his "apology," and the sheriff department released their report on their "Non-Investigation."

Well, that's good enough to satisfy the questions of a public all too eager to find out who the next Survivor winner is going to be, so why should the press bother covering anymore?

Like everything else, they got away with another one. The sheep continue to be appeased, and all is happy in the valley.

7. You know, I never thought

that just a week after the vice president shoots someone in the face, an even bigger story would come along.

Ha ha!

Serves the wingnuts right for demanding that everybody "move on."
