Bill Maher: The Era of Small Lies is over.
Bill Maher at Huffpo
To me, the big event of '05 was George Bush demonstrating that the Era of Small Lies is over.

But not small thinking. Isn't it stupid that he always has to try to appoint a Texan to everything? Attorney General, Supreme Court, education...is Texas where the great minds all are now and I missed it?

I would take some pride in saying "I told you so" to the people who just this year realized what a bonehead he is, but it was so fucking obvious from the beginning that I just can't!

Maybe next election, people will start to think, who gives a damn if I want to have a beer with this guy?

4. Why would someone want to have a beer with a drunk?
Nothing good could come out of drinking with a drunk.

6. OK, but I read better stuff on here.
Plus, he overlooks election fraud as usual. Most voters DID know he was an idiot.

8. that's right...i'd love to get hands on maher
that cheap con! acts like he's sincere, when he's carefully avoiding mentioning the goddam coup that has been ongoing for near 5 years now.....maher was one of bush's shithouse assets, and that he bugs bush after the fact (nudge wink) shows the herd how utterly free and outta control the 'liberal media' is!...the sad thing is that maher's trickery win lotsa fans

10. no they didn't there were more than a enough people to over come
any attempts at vote fraud. they just choose to either not vote or vote for bush because of terror, abortion, or gay marriage. their were a lot of blacks that voted to stop gay marriage, I mean what would jesus think if gay people had rights too. shit my wife didn't vote for bush, but she wasn't happy about gay marriage.

9. His new book is hilarious. Offensive in places to some, I suppose,
but these are far outweighed by the numerous clever insights.
