5. Yes, now its back to building detention centers for those who oppose me
and spying on all of those who disagree with us who are creating perpetual war and "unnatural" disasters.

9. LOL! Well, I'm laughing now, but, you're probably too close to the
truth. Anyone who trusts that bastard to restrain himself after his performance this weekend needs to lay off the Prozac.

10. Said basically nothing about
what happened last week. this is an attempt to "move the country forward" and get the press to say how wonderful Wittington looked, and how Cheney's "bounced back" and parrot how "america is moving forward."

Mark my words cause your gonna hear em' soon

Much ado about nothing even MSNBC cut away from his appearance.

11. MSNBC cut to a live Bush speech about "the war" and what great shape
the economy is in.

Tonight we'll hear how "America want's to put the Cheney incident behind us." :eyes:

13. Mr. Secretive himself comes out when it's time to....
save his own ass. Otherwise he is hidden away doing his dastardly deeds. This is all so transparent.

14. This Is Sooooooo Staged
I hope someone else is noting this...

It began smelling when they announced the Whittington deal...(which I found interesting in what he didn't say as opposed to what he did). The meme began yesterday about "let's move on...nothing here...Chenney said he's sorry, blah blah". Now they not only parade Crashcart out there to make it appear he's a statesman (kindly grandpa image), they drag out the other meatpuppet and try the "folksy" talk show gimmick...how things are 'moving forward'.

Next comes the meme about how all this was blown out of proportion and how it's interfering with the "work of the people being done" (not that that seemed to matter the entire year of 1998)...and how we should leave Crashcart alone and anyone who now picks on him is being mean and nasty.

15. He was also on CNN and Fox
Has any administration been able to dominate the airwaves as well as this one? Whenever any of them are making a speech of any kind, all the networks cover it live. I could see it if it were something important, but these are just campaign speeches.

16. Notice how quickly that happened?
Whittington shows us all he's not in the morgue.

Cheney snaps into action, whew, dodged a bullet there. The White House breathes a sigh of relief, now we can get back to.....rubs hands together.....

BIZNESS

18. Next will be a photo-op showing Whittington with his arm around his
hunting buddy, Cheney, probably with guns and hunting gear on, to show that they are both still avid slaughterers of small birds, and Tweety will drool and say 'well, if Whittington is okay with this, and they do look cute together, then it's not really fair for us, you know, the press, to make it any harder on them than it must have been'. Then he'll go back to bashing Democrats ~

Just heard the victim, Whittington, apologizing to the Cheney family for 'all they had to go through over the past week'. So, that's that. Another successful cover-up accomplished.
