The Effects of Alcohol on Person taking Heart Medications.

You’ve probably seen this warning on medicines you’ve taken. The danger is real. Mixing alcohol with certain medications can cause nausea and vomiting; headaches; drowsiness; fainting; loss of coordination; and can put you at risk for internal bleeding, heart problems, and difficulties in breathing. Alcohol also can decrease the effectiveness of a medication or make it totally ineffective.

I was thinking even a beer or two would affect Cheney differently, because of the fact that that is not all that is in his bloodstream. He is on heart medications. and booze just adding to the mix.

Look above.

** LOSS OF CORRDINATION
** FAINTING
** DROWSINESS

and think about it, would a normal person risk the other side effects to drinking while on heart medication?

** internal bleeding
** heart problems (on top of the one you are taking meds for?)
** difficulties in breathing

Cheney has admitted to drinking, at least one beer and reported he had a cocktail that evening when he returned to the ranch. Could even this amount be enough to drastically impair him?

3. Not a Doctor,
but I had wondered what side effects Booze added to the medications that he is already taking...could be a serious concern.

6. What about paranoia and sudden bouts of uncontrolled rage?
That could account for him shooting a guy in the face. Probably thought it was Schwarzennegar and he was trying to purge the Republican Party of moderates. "He's not a lobbyist!! He's the terminator!!"
