The QUESTION no one has asked: Did Dick Cheney hit the quail?
I'm serious. Did he hit it?

If he did, then maybe I could buy the story that this was an accident. But if he missed it, that is, if there was no "quail" - BUT he shot his friend - then his story is even less believable.

Has anyone heard about the fate of the "quail" Cheney was supposedly aiming at?

6. The 70 number comes from a different hunt.
One that was held in PA. There is no body count for this particular hunt except for the one lawyer.

2. Britt Hume asked him that question.
He said "I have no idea."

He saw Mr. Whittington fall, and that was his only concern.

Sounds reasonable to me.

5. Maybe he shot some quailtards with another shot
but how could he have hit a flightless wing clipped pen raised quail shooting at chest high elevation?
