Tony Blankley spinning
Edited on Wed Feb-15-06 07:44 PM by ewagner
his ass off.... he has ALL the talking points

It was private
Cheney WAS forthcoming (to the San Antonio news)
The press is self-absorbed
It's overblown.

oh yeah and this beauty:

Matthews asks if it's healthy to choose your own interviewer (faux news) and Blankley answers It's healthy for AMERICA because we can put the story behind us.

Does he get paid BY THE LIE????

10. Old Tony said the public is as informed as it wants to be. WTF does
that mean. Further, this administration and every administration from the inception of this country informs and communicates with the public through the press. The VP being involved in an accident where he could be criminally charged with a crime is big fucking news.

7. Tweety brings on 3 rightwing news people.. and no one from the left...
I mean seriously.. The Washington Times, The National Review, and the NY Daily News?

Those three are as bad as the idiotic "Hardball Hotshots" he has on Friday's now (Scarborough, Tucker Carlson, and whatz-her-face from that show I can't watch)

....

12. I'm not so sure about the guy from the NY Daily News.
Wasn't he the 'go to' guy for the Abramoff scandal? (So many scandals...) He seemed pretty fair if memory serves.

8. Everytime one of these blowhards spins remind them of this:
Monica. Keep saying it. Monica.

And if Clinton or Gore had shot someone....well, we know how that would go.

11. another fat, lying sack o' s--t
one protecting the other.

It's easy folks: there were two babes and booze on Valentine's weekend. They were hunting AFTER FRIGGING DARK, fer crying out loud. Looked out the window at 5:30 PM lately? Not exactly high noon.

they were horsing around - I don't even want to think about it - and the gun went off. The rest is history...they can magic bullet this story all they want - those of us who've hunted with shotguns know that a 28 gauge does not penetrate all those layers at 30 yards. I'mn not sure you'd kill a bird at 40 yards...

Sheesh - it's really that simple.

14. One error in you comment.
At 5:30 PM in South Texas now, there is still plenty of daylight unless it's a very cloudy day. At 6:15 PM, it's starting to get dark. By 7:00 PM it's very dark.

16. I'll certainly take your word for that
is it because of the distance fron the time zone line, or some other parameter?

Enquiring minds want to know...

17. Yep, the further south you are in winter, the longer the days.
It has to do with the latitude. The nearer the equator, the less the sun is hidden by the earth's tilt. That's why in the dead of winter, the Artic stays dark almost the whole day.

18. Fair enough..
actually, it was 5:50 PM but OK.

The question is, was it dusk or still bright? Seriously, it makes a difference in the judgement of those involved, objectively.

However, we know what really happened, don't we, folks....?
