are using passive voice to try an dissociate the Dick-head from the act itself, as in:

"Mr. Whittington, the man shot by the Vice President..."

I even heard one talking head say, "Mr. Whittington, the man shot by the Vice President's gun..."

Like it took a walk into the woods and pulled its own trigger. :banghead:
