What an unfeeling asshole. * quote >>
As you can probably see I was injured myself, not here at the hospital but in combat with a cedar. I eventually won.
-- Statement offered in the presence of servicemen and women wounded in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan (rather than by brush on Dubya's ranch), Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas, Jan. 1, 2006

2. Did he say it to a guy who'd lost all four limbs and one eye?
Wouldn't surprise me.

What an asshole.

So, yeah, I imagine so.

17. Like I said--what an asshole
I work in western PA in the finance industry, and my department has frequent contact with traders and brokers on Wall Street. A few days after the market reopened following the WTC bombings, one of my coworkers was speaking on the phone with someone who actually witnessed the towers falling.

"It probably wasn't as bad for us as it was for you," said my coworker, "but we were all really scared."

"Probably."

What is it about some people that drives them to minimize everyone else's suffering? When my coworker did it, I was so disgusted that I couldn't even speak to her for several hours. When the President does it, it speaks of a cruel tyrant totally disconnected from the countless horrors resulting from his monstrous policies.

Never mind. I forgot that some of the soldiers no longer have knees to slap.

5. Only an insensitive twit would compare a scratch received while clearing
brush to a combat wound. How funny is that?

6. Junior's a Sociopath, so we should expect this crap from him
Sociopath's have no human feeling, as such they have no empathy. Junior's also got Narcissistic Personality Disorder, which means that everything must always center around him.

So he visits a hospital where soldiers have had their limbs blown off, and have had their eyes blown out...and the pig fucker has to make it all about him:

"Hey look at me! Look at the cut on my head! I'm injured too!...Hey by the way, you look great without your legs hehehe!!!"

Sick bastard. He'll get his...Junior's Karma is going to be a real big bitch.

7. That was one of Olbermann's sound bites of the day last night...
...and it's interesting to SEE the clip, not just HEAR it or READ it, because you can see that one of the nurses / interns in attendance has a look of UTTER DISGUST on her face.

Yep, George W. Bush did combat with a cedar in 2006 and eventually won.

Earlier in his life he did combat with a short straw and a big mound of coke, and as we all know, he LOST that battle.

...in the Olbermann clip, you can see her facial expression turn when Junior discusses his "combat."

As in, "Is this fool ever going to shut up?"

I imagine there were a lot of interesting conversations at the hospital after Junior left to brave a world of cedars and other 'combatants'. The idiot.

16. Bush is one of those idiots who thinks himself a comedian
and being surrounded by suckups his entire life (who laugh riotously at his "jokes") has only made it worse.

This particular joke was obviously not spur-of-the-moment by the way. Can't be excused as a momentary lapse of judgement. Reason I think so: the scratch wasn't covered with makeup. They usually go to great lengths to cover his facial scrapes and scabs with foundation and powder. Yet here he went out on a photo op, with the scratch deliberately left visible. Because Bush is such a talented comedian, he decided to use the scratch as a comedy prop.

19. Chucklenuts uses a group of military medical personnel to whine about
his "combat" injury is just so-o-o-o-o-o Chucklenutty. I would bet the farm that injury didn't come from a cedar tree. That is just the excuse they are using for the latest booze/drugs "injury." We have had pretzels, bike accidents, and a cedar tree, I can't imagine what object they will come up with next.
