Bush on Cycling and the importance of new helmets after hitting your head
I missed this when it came out. The new abrasion he's been sporting kind of sent me on a looksee. Apparently this is what he was doing while Ms. Sheehan was organizing people for peace and grieving her son.

"Bush: Yes. And it's not a good thing to do on a mountain bike, is to relax. (Laughter.) And I was flying. I say "flying" -- it was flat, a little bit downhill and it was wet asphalt. And I guess there was a little layer of something on the surface and all I know is my bike went out from underneath me and we hit. I would strongly urge people to wear helmets on mountain bikes. I've hit my head two or three times. I would also urge people, once they hit their head, to replace their helmet "

Gee Eddie do you really think it matters?

3. They need to just make him a drunk room with lots of padding
and plenty of toys to keep him entertained. I gotta tell you though, helmet advice from prezdint boo-boo is thoroughly hilarious.

6. Before I hurt my back I used to do 16 miles faithfully every day
for about 3 years. I took one really hard spill in all that time and didn't have a mark on my face. My hands, my left foot and my ass were a different story but nothing wrong with the mug.

It cracks me up that he ADMITS he hits his head all the time. What a shit wit.

7. Q: Your shorts are torn there, Mr. President. Tell us about that.
Torn shorts? This is the kind of mental imagery I don't really need but seriously - how hard do you think he tried to get them to notice his "torn shorts" so he could tell the story?
