My "thank you" letter to CNN re: furor over CSK funeral

"I want to thank you for your coverage following the Coretta Scott King funeral service because it validated a decision I made earlier this week to cancel my upper tier cable so I'm not even tempted to watch CNN.

Reading online about how your pampered poodle pundits were horrified that her funeral was "politicized" made me realize how little I miss the false outrage and righteous indignation your pundits spew on a daily basis. Once again, instead of discussing the actual issues, your station chose to make the speaking about issues the storyline.

I have been a CNN watcher since its inception and, for many years, one of my main reasons for having the upper tier cable was specifically for CNN. Those days are long gone and while I've thought of you as the "Certainly Not News" network for over a year, I have now moved on to where you are "Certainly Not Necessary"."

stopped paying for cable years ago and do not watch broadcast. I will tolerate NPR although they have clearly succumbed to the "fair and balanced" credo.

I use DU and the internet as my primary news and research sources.

BTW - just saw "Good Night and Good Luck" on a plane a few days ago. History has born out Murrow's predictions about the direction of the MSM.

CNN attacks populist dissent in whatever form it may take. If it isn't good for corporate profits it isn't good for America and CNN will stomp on it.
CNN wants us all to respect authority. Never mind this fake president only finds himself in a mixed audience when he on rare occasion makes a mistake like inviting himself to the CSK funeral. Those without corporate connections, big dollars for those big dollar a plate dinners do not get to question or even hear someone question this fascist state.
Our fake president holds public meetings sponsored by our tax dollars at which anyone suspected of not being an ass kisser is ejected from the premises.
I could not believe my eyes this am when I read about this faux criticism on CNN over the anti regime statements made at CSKs funeral. Oh boo hoo, they hurt chimpys feelers.
Back to work proles and quit thinking. CNN will do the thinking thank you very much.
