To answer your question, the days of MLK an RFK were great times in this country. Everything was turbulent it was the sixties. The war in Vietnam raged and so did the war at home. Old stereotypes were throw out and new awareness was born.

It seems to me that the ball was dropped sometime after that and people thought that all the dragons had been slayed. I guess the dragons were only sent away for awhile.

Now they're back and it's time to fight them again.

Actually, the only people who answered me were Cindy Sheehan and Sean Penn, but that's another thread that never happened. :evilgrin:

Tonight since the "politicizing" brain fart was being perpetrated by the Reich Wing, I though it might be nice/fun/interesting to discuss what those days were like, maybe more for the benefit of younger people than mere nostalgia.
