I bet there's a couple 3, 4 cartoons at least.

1. Please don't
I have been confronted by anti-Muslim freepers in the flesh, and their thoughts and actions are not pretty. Why spread the ugliness and hatred? I am still sad with the bruhaha over the hate cartoons directed towards Muslims and now, sadly, towards Jews. This kind of thing must stop.

4. I agree 100%
I'm just trying to make us more aware of the hypocrisy of some on the right. This is a great example of partisan politicising at the expense of understanding the issues. A critical analysis is ridiculed by the right.

2. To what end?
Edited on Tue Feb-07-06 07:21 PM by igil
To show that Muslims don't have to be violent when they feel insulted? This we already know.

To show that Danes don't have a monopoly on bad taste? This we also know.

To show that when you feel threatened or intimidated you have offensive thoughts, emit offensive sounding noises and might even commit some of the thoughts to paper? This we also know.

To show that offensive drawings, when taken out of context, suddenly seem all the more offensive? This we also know.

I'm stumped. Where's the meritorious purpose in this?

5. Sorry there is no meritorious purpose.
I word surrounded by freeps. I have spoken up and have almost lost my job because of it. My co-workers buy into every talking point and I would love to show them the hatred they live in. They don't have a clue, again I heard a defense today about how crazy the muslim religion is.

3. Why?
Anti Muslim freepers are insane. Go over there and get an idea. It's a cesspool of hatred. I see no reason to bring it over here. I see no need to dredge it up. I have seen those cartoons by real freeper types and these recent cartoons are nothing compared to some of them. And I am completely disgusted by the violent reaction to the recent cartoons, but I see no need to find OLD cartoons and post them here. The only reason the new cartoons have been posted is to give people an idea what has caused the recent problems.
