Why was Mrs. King's funeral held in Bishop Long's church?

Bishop Long is one of George Bush's favorite African-Americans. Was Mrs. King a member of the congregation? I don't doubt her homophobic daughter Bernice is.

Bishop Eddie Long’s claim to fame…

He made national news when he and Bernice King, daughter of slain civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. led a march at the gravesite of her father with thousands of demonstrators to denounce gay marriage.

That church has a seating capacity of 10,000.00. The King children needed a church that would hold a very large number of people. It is sad that Bernice has taken a stand against gays. Her mother did not share her views. Mrs. King's long time assistant of 25 years is a gay man.
