Some people are afraid of Iran...I'm afraid of...
Depleted Uranium, the possibility of nuclear weapons being used, perpetual warfare, Peak Oil, diminishing supplies of water world-wide, global warming, rising sea levels, religous fundamentalism of ANY sort, decreasing sperm counts in male homo sapiens, decrease in the nutritional value of basic foodstuffs, damage to the ozone layer, voter apathy, economic collapse, the possible effects of fluoride in water supplies, potential riots as more and more people join the ranks of the dispossessed, identity theft, rigged elections, the unknown effect of GM crops, the re-emergence of fascism, the insidious effect of corporate-owned media, a society that is ignorant of what is happening under their very noses, narcisstic individualism at the expense of community, the hypocrisy of trading with shitty regimes while dissing others of the same shitty hue and mindless consumerism...to name but a few reasons for my angst.

I don't have time to be worried about Iran. There's already enough shit flying around to turn me into a shivering wreck.

1. Its only a matter of time
before the things you are talking about start flying up in a big way that people can't ignore, whatever the media tells them. If Bush wants to sell the IRan war, he'd better get crackin'!

...of US citizens on US soil.

Iran has not threatened me with that. I don't have time to worry about Iran, either.
