10. Yes, John Conyers!
Works to protect elections from BushCo!

The entire Black Congressional Caucus! Wait, is Harold Ford Jr. part of that? NOT him.

Stephanie Tubbs Jones, Maxine Waters!

Henry Waxman speaks quietly and consistently for me!

Dick Durbin (he could use a shot of political steroids) but he speaks for me!

15. I am as are many others. This is the crucial issue and they need to
come through. In a sense, unless we get a top leader of our party to nail it or a mega celeb like Obama, we're stuck with incrementalism or hoping for a whistle blower (which the press wouldn't cover anyway). But you point is quite valid.

8. I'd add the entire CBC, President Kerry, Kucinich, Boxer, Conyers,...
,...among many others. We sure do seem to take for granted so many Dems who are speaking out on our behalf while the entire Republican party are so spineless that they have allowed a dictatorial coup to take place.

I still cannot understand the choice to be fickle over the choice to go after the OBVIOUS monsters against our values. We are under attack and it's not some obscure "islamofascist" boogeyman that threatens us. Our Republic and system of government and people are being attacked by a clear and well-defined threat: the Bushco/neoconster regime. Why is this being allowed? Have we completely lost our senses: both rational and common?

The "institution" is being run by psychopaths,...and our nation has been infected with insanity run amok.

18. He is. Had the privilege of working with his committee a bit
when he and his staff were too damn smart...really made us prove our case in detail before they supported it and it was an issue that they supported. The man has intellectual integrity! and real courage!

My hat is off to the African American democrats in congress! They have stood up to Bush since day one! God bless them, they truly are patriots.

13. As an American they speak for me as well
I am not now nor never have been a Democrat but I am very Liberal and mostly vote Democratic as I am also Pragmatic. With the addition of Jimmy Carter I am proud to say as an American they speak for me and I am in total agreement with their positions...
