That poor woman.

2. The group is from the Dance Theater of Harlem
The event is at the White House - not a fundraiser.

4. And check out the guest list!
it's horrifying.

Following a dinner in the State Dining Room toasting 71-year-old school founder Mitchell, the president and first lady took in a performance featuring dancers from the school and some all-star singers — and then showed off some moves of their own.

In the East Room, Opera diva Harolyn Blackwell, Broadway star Audra McDonald, country singer
LeAnn Rimes and soul legend Rev. Al Green put music to the dancers' pieces.

Green's finale of "Let's Stay Together" loosened up the crowd, which included presidential advisers Karl Rove and Karen Hughes, Sen. Bill Frist, R-Tenn., and Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, and got them clapping and singing along.

***

Guests at the dinner enjoyed a four-course meal of puree of parsnip soup, roasted Kobe beef, yellow taxi pepper and avocado terrine and lemon custard cake for dessert.

I also find it telling that the Prez is eating JAPANESE dead cows, not AMERICAN dead cows. Whaddup with that? Could it be MAD COW concerns?

14. Did anyone watch the footage of this on the news? OMG!
I saw it this morning. Initially I thought * may be having a seizure and the woman was helping him. But on subsequent viewings, with the tv sound on, I realized he was trying to dance. :wow:

It's hysterical because the people around him seem to be trying to help him keep the beat.
