I mean, he was the Attorney General during this time period and probably one of the sickest individuals in that administration when it comes to any kind of liberty. Hell the man put a Burqa on Lady Liberty because he was threatened by a statue with an exposed breast.

So where the hell is Ashcroft - get him on the stand and make him answer to the crimes he has committed!

5. No kidding
Interesting to hear that he opposed this nonsense. And interesting to think that he was Pat Fitzgerald's boss.

He apparently disagreed with this ill-conceived scheme. Several Dems mentioned that today, as tortureboy squirmed/

3. All in good time
Gonzales is the point man for tyranny right now ... so he has to be exposed and taken down first.

8. Judiciary Committee says they are both, Ashcroft and Comey,
expected to testify this week. Gonzales will be back next week with more answers he promised to look into and supply written testimony by that time. Those are the testimonys I'm anxious to hear!!

A more weathered John Ashcroft enters the private sector

In October 2005, Ashcroft registered with the federal government as a lobbyist. In 2005 year-end filings, Ashcroft's firm, The Ashcroft Group LLC, reported collecting $269,000, including $220,000 from Oracle Corporation, which won Department of Justice approval of a multibillion-dollar acquisition less than a month after hiring Ashcroft. The totals that Ashcroft has reported so far represent in some cases only initial payments.

Oracle is one of three clients of Ashcroft's lobbying firm which want his help in selling data or software with homeland security applications, according to government filings. The fourth reported client, Israel Aircraft Industries International, is competing with Chicago's Boeing Company to sell the government of South Korea a billion-dollar airborne radar system."

the only way filth like asscroft will be brought to justice, is if we take to the streets.

.....but i don't really advocate that.
