Looks like Arlen wants to give Gonzalez room to lie.
Specter is arguing against putting Gonzalez under oath.

Imagine the shame of having our nation's top law-enforcement officer refuse to swear to tell the truth in front of Congress.

Republicans are not only profiteers and liars. They are actually traitors who cannot tell the truth without going to jail.

1. I noticed he's been challenged
and that he's called a role call vote to uphold the ruling of the chair.

Yeah, but there are 10 Repugs and 8 Dems. No way this is going to be an honest hearing. Monkey-face Sessions says it's shameful not to trust a man of Gonzoles integrity. Bullshit!

2. I love the battles of the egos.
The real problem is Specter's ego bigger than Bush's.I am sure this will be a rubble stamps unless Specter's ego gets in the way.:nopity:

4. Specter said that lying to cong has similar *penalties* whether under oath
or not. He did not address whether the standard of proof would be similar, as well.

5. Of course - the Republicans are criminals - stick together
Democrats should ask for Gonzales oath - even now.
