3. Does anyone else find this phrasing, in the lead paragraph, odd?
Headline: Friends don't know what provoked suspect in gay bar attack

Opening paragraph of article:
NEW BEDFORD, Mass. --As a manhunt continued Friday for the young man accused of attacking patrons of a gay nightspot with a hatchet and handgun, friends said he sometimes glorified Naziism but never expressed any specific prejudice toward gays.

Ummmm

They're still suprised?

5. He sometimes glorified Nazi-ism...
Now why would someone who did that become a violent bigot? It amazes me when I hear people excuse racist or homophobic comments and say, "but so-and-so didn't hate..."
Cognitive dissonance? Flat-out stupidity?

6. All we need now is...
... the little old lady neighbor saying "he was a good quiet Christian boy".

I never cease to be amazed at the questions some people ask. Why? Why indeed. Could be anything from he had a bad day, to meth-induced psychosis, to schizophrenia.

Who cares?

7. I couldn't agree more
You know damn well this kook has been programmed just fine to do the horrific things he did by whatever crazy groups out there that were spoon feeding him with their hateful propaganda. This country could could wipe out this kind of shit if it wanted to, but they just turn the other cheek on it all the time.
