"Protests" in the Middle-East Amount to a Boycott of Lurpak
i.e. not much...

DU is buying the right-wing line from the MSM. No, the Middle-east is NOT in flames. People ARE NOT screaming for blood at the top of their lungs. Marginally irritated? Perhaps...

Let's just put in in perspective. So far, just a VERY FEW people have protested or hit the streets in response to this. While people are not happy, most are just sticking to a boycott...

Hmmmmmmm. Sounds like a legitimate response to something deeply offensive.

3. You're right...
Every news service in the world is lying to me. Thank you so much for enlightening me. It is all a huge conspiracy.

5. Where's
here? Every single Middle Eastern Country? And I still can't believe you call this a "legitimate" response. Islam is a wonderful religion, it just needs to shed the hijackers and evolve. NOW.

6. No, it's just that the media is distorting things once again
Yes, people are angry... The images you are seeing are distorted in the sense they are MYOPIC. You see just a tiny bit of the picture.

Hijackers have nothing to do with Islam. However, Islam permeates everything in the Middle-east including (and most especially) rhetoric.

7. Sorry for being beside the point but its nice (if that's the right word)
to have someone from the UAE on DU. :hi: Its invaluable having a report of what is happening from someone with your vantage point.
