how to copy/save internet videos?
the video forum will not let me ask a question, only post a video.

so if there is a video of some sort that I want to save on my computer is there a way to do it? I know I can email it from youtube I suppose to myself. but after I open the email, can I save the video to import it into a video editor for example?

Now that I have a video on youtube and am learning how to do this, it would be helpful to be able to save it.

1. Go to KeepVid.com
http://keepvid.com/

After you download it from them it's a flv file so I guess you can edit it with Flash but I've never tried that. I just use FLV Player to watch them.

3. if you use firefox, it's incredibly simple.
Go here:

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2390/

There is a link half-way down. The thing is simply an extension, a plug-in for firefox. It's only 14KB large.
