Anybody else just catch Pelosi on CSPAN?
She was fantastic! Two notable things I loved: A massive emphasis on energy independence and global warming, and a reference to the immoral nature of the war. I would follow this woman to the grave...she's just fantastic.

It was all great except for one questioner yelling at her, about the plight of people of color in NOLA...I wish folks like that would realize that they should be yelling at the people who got them there, not the people who are trying to get them out. He just made himself look dumb. But other than that, great...Some actual hope after so long in the darkness...

1. Yes, indeed! The repubilcans I know are pretty much speechless.
They've got nothing, absolutely nothing in response. They simply can't argue with this woman's truth telling and what the Dems have done since they were all sworn in. I know my late mother would be so happy!

3. I just watched it!
I think it was a repeat from Friday. She handeled the questioner from New Orleans very well, with intelligence. and grace and I was very impressed that she quoted parts of Kings speech. I hope the committee she mentioned, head by Barney Frank will investigate or at the very least prolong aid. This should be a priority. People in NO are still dying and the questioner was correct on all points. Pelosi recognized that his angry behavior was quite appropriate for the topic. She was respectful and compassionate. Also Reid's emphasis on energy independence and calling Bush "stubborn" was impressive! I hope these clips get shown on MSM.

4. true, true, I guess you can't blame the guy
he wasn't yelling at Pelosi, he was yelling out of frustration. I guess I'm just feeling a little defensive of her since I enjoyed her message so much!
