5. Blue last year, I'm gonna say red this year
I was looking at old SOTU photos and he seems to alternate between blue and red. Darth Cheney always seems to wear red. I was about to guess what tie Hastert was going to wear then I remembered he'll be sitting in the back row this time.

17. blue
probably with stripes or dots

he knows the country is against him on Iraq, so he's going to have to come across as being sincere in order to convince us he's right

to wear red would come across as being arrogant with a "f--k you America, I'm the decider" - this posture will not rally us around his position.

My best guess as to the overall theme of the SOTU will be one of fear:

-- if we don't win in Iraq, we're all going to die
-- if we don't invade Iran, we're all going to die
-- if we don't follow him, we're all going to die
-- if the Democratic congress doesn't do what he wants, we're all going to die
-- if we don't __________, we're all going to die

this will be peppered heavily with "9-11, we're all going to die"

remember - the the bushies - Fear is a commodity, it may have a new bright shiny box, but it's still the same soap

24. Red does indicate arrogance and he will wear red
He's going to strut out wearing a power-red tie and try to scare everybody into remembering that he's the big decider. It will be one long "9/11 - terra terra terra - 9/11 - terra terra terra"....repeat repeat repeat

22. Someone's gonna have to tell me what color it was.
Cuz, being on a strict diet that doesn't allow garbage, I'll have to force myself to do something more pleasant than watch the birdbrained fratboy. Something like putting my fingers in the blender.
