Waxman Begins Delving into Procurement/Government Contracting Issues
Congressman Waxman's no-nonsense letter/document "request" to the head of the GSA: http://oversight.house.gov/Documents/20070119135537-04766.pdf

Similar letter to Public Affairs Group, Inc.: http://oversight.house.gov/Documents/20070119135644-16364.pdf

Similar letter to White House Office of Administration Director: http://oversight.house.gov/Documents/20070119135614-73125.pdf

The game is afoot.

1. I hope one of the first called to testify is.........
Bunny Greenhouse. She was a civilian procurement specialist for the DOD and started complaining when some big contracts were awarded to contractors with out the benefit of bidding!

She's earned the chance to speak her piece!

5. The time has come for the anti-corruption, open government wing of the Democratic party
to move this country forward with some TRUTH for a change.

Long live Henry Waxman. And may the Coverup wing of the Dem party choke on the filth they lick from BushiNc's boots.

7. Recent reports that Homeland Security can't account for 46% of their $$.
Not one more dollar until the explain where the missing $23 BILLION went.

8. But, the question is...
Can Americans stop watching "American Idol" long enough to
pay attention to his findings?

AND, if this tree falls in the forest of corporate complicit network news,
will anyone hear it?

Sorry to be so despondent, but I don't think I could count the people
who are aware of Waxman's work on one hand even.

If the "news" media will not report his findings, then what?

9. The MSM's Appetite Is Growing...
... along with its willingness to publish: http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&ned=us&ie=UTF-8&q=henry+waxman+oversight

- Dave

P.S. Los Angeles - Chairman Waxman's home district media market - is the second largest city in America:

http://oversight.house.gov/bio.asp

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_cities_by_population#Largest_cities

He has spent many, many years cultivating the MSM ties necessary to make sure that - when the time is right - the stories will break big.

11. Don't Count out a Well-Timed Documentary, Either...
... after all, Hollywood is right there in/adjacent to his district, too.
