1. I agree with everything except
"little intelligence".. I really think he is an intelligent person. I also think he is a liar and thief, but that's just my opinion.

4. I agree completely. I don't think he's stupid, just fucking DRUNK!
ALL of his bizarre behavior and physical manifestations can be explained by simple hardcore alcoholism. I've been saying this over and over and over again on this board, but no one wants to listen to me.

I've seen the guy in better days. He's not stupid. He can actually be quite sharp and charming. But he is SOAKED in ethanol. It frustrates me that no one else can see this, but if you've ever lived with an alcoholic--or been one--you know what I'm talking about.

8. Kill enough brain cells with alcohol and you end up stupid, whether you started out
that way or not.

5. I don't think he's very smart. I would not be surprised to find out
that his "master's degree" was bought.

6. Actually, just a phone call from Poppy (or one of Poppy's Good Friends) might have done the trick.

9. trust me, he's stupid
There's a correlation between intelligence and lack of curiosity.

However, that's not why I'm posting. I've long wanted to post a thread about "little" george bush, as seen by the political cartoonists.

In all the years that bush has stolen his way into the office, I've watched the political cartoons and he consistently is portrayed as "little." Contrast that with Clinton and Gore, who were almost always portrayed as "large." Clinton's feature that was portrayed as large was his nose. Gore's was often his chest.

If you look back over the political cartoons, you will see bush has only been portrayed as normal-sized by about one cartoonist. Extraordinary, that that many see him as "little" and that this is his defining feature.

10. I've noticed the same thing about the cartoons, and commented here:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=3065386&mesg_id=3065404

Although Bush is a medium-sized guy (about 5'10-11, I'd guess), not unusually short, almost all of the political cartoonists draw him as by far the smallest character in the cartoon, often as a child, and sometimes wearing cowboy boots. It seems like the image they are consistently portraying is of a bratty little boy who likes to play cowboy. Spot on, I'd say.
