Was Afghanistan and Iraq merely a prelude to Iran?
Edited on Sat Jan-20-07 09:22 AM by BushOut06
I just realized, we have troops in Afghanistan and Iraq - guess what country is directly between the two? Maybe they figured that they could use their newly acquired territory as a launching pad for a future invasion of Iran, to hit them with a classic 'pincer' move?

Has Iran been the ultimate goal all along?

1. That would imply they had a plan. They had no plan. This is desperation. IMHO

4. I don't think Bush could have done this - I think #2 has it right on
Wouldn't surprise me one bit, if the Saudis and Cheney cooked this all up. Notice how Dick Cheney has always been the most ferocious hawk over the past few years?

You are absolutely right. And who is really "calling the shots"? Saudi Arabia -- the arch rival of Iran.

And 9/11? Hatched and plotted and, for the most part, executed by Saudi Arabians. Voila.

5. I wouldn't say "merely" but Iraq is to be used to launch an invasion against Iran.
How do I know? The neocons said so, before we ever invaded Iraq.

6. Iraq was designed to draw Iran in to the war
They wanted to make it look like we were taking down a evil man then we will need to deal with Iran because they got involved in Iraq.
