The State of the Union, with Nancy in the background. Oh the pain, the pain.
Oh how it will pain the Woman Haters He-man Club members to see the president speaking with 'that woman' sitting directly behind him and next to big dick.

This will be a historical if not hysterical moment, to see a LIBERAL FEMALE sitting in the number three seat of power, and to know that she will throw a wrench into whatever evil dick and his monkey have planned.

Many people who have never been able to stand watching the ape read dick's words will now tune in just to catch this historical image, to see Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi smiling knowingly while dick snarls and grimaces stiffly.

I just want to see that image, of a LIBERAL WOMAN in the seat of power, sitting next to the disgraced dick cheney and the much loathed ape, and this wonderful image will forever be burned into the pages of history, and remembered as the moment that bush's regime began to unravel, and this two headed monster of greed and stupidity was finally killed.

1. Won't that be GREAT?!?!? That's reason enough to tune in, all by
itself.

And I believe the evening starts with the sergeant-at-arms hollering out - "Madame Speaker!" - to announce asshole's arrival.

3. It would save a lot of time if I could just put all your posts on "auto-recommend."

I'll have to settle for a middle-of-the-night feed off C-Span to watch the speech, but savoring the sweetness of the moment, along with Jim Webb's response, will be worth feeling like hell at work the following day.

5. Scared of a Lady.
I must've heard a hundred repub cspan callers say they were absolutely terrified at the prospect of a Speaker Pelosi with the gavel, like she was Leatherface with a chain saw.

7. The media hype will be another comedic break.
"Look at that necklace. She wore that to upset the libruls".

or

"Look at that, she clapped when he talked about the troops. Bet that will upset the anti war democrats".

You know they (the media) never talked about the clothes Denny wore, or what he clapped for.

8. Do You Think She Can Smirk
If she could only paste one of those Dumbya or Gonzo smirks on her face, it will be priceless. I doubt she can sink that low though.

9. This was the image I visualized on election day....
...and its come true! In fact, I think it was Stellanoir who guided many of us in that imagery....

Now we need to also visualize Dick and the Monkey getting impeached and going to jail.... :hi:

10. Nancy, and other women, were there when he gave the last one. He doesn't give a shit.
That clown doesn't care who is in the audience, he knows no shame, he feels no embarassment, he is careless as to who is around him, he is careless as to who cares what he says. Fuck him.

11. Yeah, how great. She's now in favor of the Iraqi Civil War.
If she won't block funding (as she has now announced she won't) then she is for the war, plain and simple. She can do all the talking she wants, but that's just bullshit at this point.

I guess she'll have to clap when * says he's sending more troops. I mean, why wouldn't she applaud that? She's paying for the damn thing.

13. Oh, Be Fair
as for OKAYing funding, I don't think it shows support for the war. It shows weakness.

I have to admit, it was an absolutely BRILLIANT move on the part of Dubya. Diabolical, yes, but really clever.

If Democrats block funding and Dubya sends troops anyway (which he would do) then the Democrats will get accused of not supporting our troops. And when our troops die it will be the body armor argument all over again, this time the administration will pin all the blame on the Democrats. Meanwhile, as Iraq continues to be a disaster, Dubya can now claim he wanted to send even MORE troops, but Congress (Democrats) wouldn't fund it.

If Democrats agree to the funding, we are seen as caving in and agreeing to the plan. From Dubya's perspective, when Iraq continues to be a disaster, even with the extra money and troops, the Democrats have lost their anti-war credibility - even if they are only trying to save the lives of our men and women Dubya seems hellbent on sending to, uh, hell/Iraq.

It's Scylla and Charibdis
To not fund the troops would mean the Democrats and Dubya are playing chicken with our soldiers' lives and I don't like it one bit.
To fund the troops is consent of the war and allowing Dubya to get away with the same crap. I don't like that either.

Anyone got a better idea?
