WEIRD Indy report that Bush orders jailing of all civilian war protestors...
Edited on Sat Jan-20-07 02:04 AM by calipendence
This story is on three different web sites now, and I can't tell whether it's based on anything true or not, but if it is, it represents some real serious crap that Gonzalez needs to answer for! Looks like it's basically alleging that someone has come across Russian Intelligence findings that Bushco is issuing orders to start arresting us all! Sounds like we need to do some more digging to see whether this is anything to be worried about or not! This story IS showing up through google news searches...

US President Orders Military To Begin Jailing All Civilian Protestors To War
by Sorcha Faal Friday, Jan. 19, 2007 at 12:52 PM

In yet another shocking prelude towards becoming a Total Police State, Russian Intelligence Analysts are reporting today that the American War Leaders have issued orders to the United States Military Northern Command authorizing the jailing, and military tribunals, for any American citizen critical of the ‘war effort’.

protest_dc.jpg, image/jpeg, 300x450

These reports state that the American President has ‘lost his confidence’ in the American Judicial System and has further ordered his War Cabinet to begin attacking civilian judges, and as we can read as confirmed by the MSNBC News Service in their article titled "Gonzales: Judges unfit to rule on terror policy", and which says:

"Attorney General Alberto Gonzales says federal judges are unqualified to make rulings affecting national security policy, ramping up his criticism of how they handle terrorism cases.

“We want to determine whether he understands the inherent limits that make an unelected judiciary inferior to Congress or the president in making policy judgments,” Gonzales says in the prepared speech. “That, for example, a judge will never be in the best position to know what is in the national security interests of our country.”

The American War Leaders have further launched attacks against their own civilian judiciary from the Pentagon, and as we can read as reported by the Jurist Legal Research and News Service in their report titled "US law deans 'appalled' by Stimson criticism of law firms for representing detainees", and which says:

"More than 130 deans of US law schools signed a statement released Monday expressing their dismay at comments made last week by DOD Deputy Assistant Secretary for Detainee Affairs Charles "Cully" Stimson in a radio interview critizing top US law firms for providing pro bono representation to Guantanamo detainees.

Yeah, the Brits busted their commandos out of an Iraqi jail with a tank...
British Smash Into Iraqi Jail To Free 2 Detained Soldiers

By Ellen Knickmeyer and Jonathan Finer
Washington Post Foreign Service
Tuesday, September 20, 2005; Page A01

BAGHDAD, Sept. 19 -- British armored vehicles backed by helicopter gunships burst through the walls of an Iraqi jail Monday in the southern city of Basra to free two British commandos detained earlier in the day by Iraqi police, witnesses and Iraqi officials said. The incident climaxed a confrontation between the two nominal allies that had sparked hours of gun battles and rioting in Basra's streets.

An Iraqi official said a half-dozen armored vehicles had smashed into the jail, the Reuters news agency reported. The provincial governor, Mohammed Walli, told news agencies that the British assault was "barbaric, savage and irresponsible."

He just fuels the fire for propaganda, and even though many of us can see through a lot of this crap, the elements of truth from Gonzalez's comments are what gives them credibility with the less informed in the rest of the world and add to our image as a country going down even further.

We need to impeach Gonzalez NOW!

Sorcha Faal turns out to be a nom de plume for David Booth, a retired computer programmer from New Hampshire who stirred up limited controversy in conspioracy circles with the promotion of his book ‘Code Red: The Coming Destruction of the United States 2004.’Booth claimed the book originated in a “consecutive ten day dream he alleged he experienced in 2003 in which he saw a large sized planetary body pass close to Earth causing an explosion. This was then built up into the story about ‘Planet X’

...

We saw how innocent acts become crimes at the inaugural parade for Gov. M. Jodi Rell this month. Ken Krayeske, a free-lance journalist, law student and former campaign director for Green Party gubernatorial candidate Cliff Thornton, was arrested there and charged with breach of peace and interfering with a police officer. Why? He was taking pictures of the parade.

Of course, that is no crime. But before the parade began, Hartford police officers were told by the Connecticut Intelligence Center and the Connecticut State Police Central Intelligence Unit that a number of political activists posed a threat to the governor.

...

Ken Krayeske was not arrested for taking pictures. He was arrested because he was on a list of potential threats. His innocent conduct took on a sinister cast when viewed through the secret lens of suspicion.

The state police deny maintaining any such lists. I suspect the denials are a mere linguistic trick. The state may not maintain a list. The lists of who is naughty and who is nice are most likely in federal hands. State lawmakers can hold all the hearings they want in Hartford to find out about these lists and they will learn almost nothing. State law enforcement officials are merely participating in federally managed and funded programs designed, we are told, to protect the security of this, our blessed homeland.

I'm not bashing you or anyone else here, I'm just saying it speaks volumes about our collective distrust of our government that any of us even click on this thread.

Did you ever think you'd get to the point where you looked at our government and wondered about how safe you are to speak out for what you believe? I used to look at the militia guys and think they were pretty whacked out. I can't say that any more because I really AM afraid that this is no longer the America that my grade school Social Studies teachers talked about with such pride.

This is an especially sad commentary on our nation's current leaders, I think...

Normally in the past, I would have dismissed it as far left, or perhaps better termed "kook" banter. But these days, when you have the likes of Gonzalez in charge, who at this point nothing will surprise me about his actions any more, it is harder and harder to dismiss honest efforts to reveal hidden truth from those that may be fabrictaed.

I still think these are probably fabricated too as they sound collectively too wild, but it does give some food for thought.

It's like watching the Turkish movie "Valley of the Wolves: Iraq" (Kurtlar Vadisi: Irak), which is a rather distorted fictional account of what's going on over in Iraq. However, there's enough there that is honest emotions, etc. of what people feel about us over there using high budget cinematic style, and how it reverses the role of whaat Hollywood typically treats the sterotypes of war, etc. over in that part of the world that makes it food for thought too.

We live now in strange times! I just hope that we can find a way to rid ourselves of this cabal which is turning the world up on its end the way it is without the need to resort to violent or other drastic measures.

40. I agree! It's a comment on the times.
The story is based on Russian intelligence sources. I have no way to evaluate that or the ability of the author to even get that.

The reason it's scary enough to warrant a guilty read is the Gonzalez testimony. I didn't cross check these quotes with his time before Chairman Conyers but just what I read of that is cause for serious concern.

I don't believe this, and the poster is not asking us to, but I sure clicked on it and read it. Things have come to a very low level. During the Viet Nam war protesters were targeted at times when provocations were created that then lead to police action. However, the idea back then of mass jailing of anyone opposed to the war was not floated seriously or taken seriously. Now we've got an administration that really hates the courts and an AG who tells Congress, in the wire tapping cases, that it knows better than the judges.

I'm glad this was posted. It shows us how absurd our political dialog is when the administration and the Attorney General introduce serious questions about the judiciary, create "signing statements," and the Chief Executive tells us he'll damn well do what he wants with regard to war powers.

Shame on them.
