5. Just guessing, but
the controversial things that come to mind ...
She keeps impeachment off the table.
She backs the funding for the surge.

6. These are extremely difficult political decisions. They are not black and White...
Considering the last couple weeks of congress, they have a WELL PLANNED Legislative Agenda. I'm guessing they are making a wise choice. I'm hopeful.

10. She pissed off chuckle* nuts this morning on GMA...

*snip*
In the interview with Sawyer, Pelosi said Democrats in Congress would not be held responsible for putting the soldiers in the troop surge in additional harm's way by blocking funds. She also called the situation in Iraq a "tragedy" and a "stark blunder."

*snip*
The president knows that because the troops are in harm's way, that we won't cut off the resources. That's why he's moving so quickly to put them in harm's way, but we will hold the president accountable. He has to answer for his war.

8. her is how she started
Edited on Fri Jan-19-07 11:52 PM by madrchsod

"She grew up stuffing envelopes for her dad. She grew up watching how the political game was played. She saw how favors were handed out, how chits were called in. She watched her mother balance full-time motherhood with grass-roots organizing, and later followed her example. Albemarle Street was Nancy Pelosi's training ground, the center of a political universe forged from a community as tight-knit as an Italian village." washington post.....

and she ended up here

nancy rocks the house
