Tokyo Rose?
In another message board, this Freeper-type there posted some garbage about comparing "Tokyo Rose" to today, but changing the name to "Tokyo Hillary," "Tokyo Cindy," etc.

So I posted this to "TW":

TW>~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
TW>
TW>Tokyo Rose

Yup, Japan had several women, broadcasting under the "Tokyo Rose"
moniker.

England had "Lord Haw-Haw," one of his broadcasts can be heard here:

Saddam Hussein had "Baghdad Bob."
(Who surprisingly enough, is still alive and not in any jail!)

Osama has that Omar guy. (Is that his name?)

Nowadays, the enemy of the US has Tony Snow.

2. IIRC one of the "Tokyo Roses" was given a pardon by Ford
Not sure if this story is correct, but as I recall Tokyo Rose was actually a heroine who literally risked her life daily to save her countrymen.

6. Yes, many U.S. servicemen testified in her favor at her trial.
She believed that she would be welcomed back home as a heroine. It was Walter Winchell who suceeded in bringing charges against her as a traitor. Another sad chapter in American history.

5. The US equivalent propaganda-flinger would actually be "Tokyo RUSH"....
...and all of his hate-mongering, fact-challenged imitators.
