Anyone else suffering outrage overload?
I'm watching some of the Gonzales hearing today, and reading about the freak who criticized law firms representing detainees, and reading the posts about Nancy Pelosi's statement that she won't block funds for the escalation, and thinking about the forced resignations of the federal prosecutors .... and I swear that my head is about to explode. :nuke:

4. That's a great name for it -- absolutely perfect.
I have been so pissed off lately -- I can't even pinpoint what I am angry about. It seems like everyday there is something new.

I am sick of feeling like this and wish we could just impeach this m-fers and get on with our lives.

5. Something has to change. This should not be happening in America.
If something does not change, I'm going to have to look for a business partner in Canada or some other way to live out my life and my family's lives in a free democratic society.

6. Absolutely.
I am also completely frightened by the extreme weather changes.
The combination of the global elite thuggery and the
complete meltdown of the eco-system is simply too much
to shoulder at the moment.
Have you been watching the news about the storms in Europe?

This morning in Malibu, we had snow in California.
At the moment we are experiencing warming and high winds.
WTF?

My animals are all freaking out and that worries me greatly.

7. I know how you feel.
It comes in waves that seem to grow. Yesterday was bad for me, listening to people accuse the Dems of having no plan, bringing up Kerry's botched joke from months ago, a never ending stream of unbelievable delusional garbage. It is obvious that reality is not an option for a large part of America's population. I am so sorry that it is bad for you. Today I have had to stop listening and the pain is a little better. I send you good thoughts and energy to deal. Peace on earth, Kim

8. No. Quite the opposite.
I like a nice, classic overreaching. And I simply love that the smarmy worm was under oath.

The thing about testifying under oath, is that lying makes the liar physically fall apart. We need to call him back. And call him back again. And again.

The power has shifted. It cannot alter in a day. I've been thru Watergate. I know how to wait.

23. No one is second to me in vengefulness.
I want them ground to dust.

If you truly hate someone, watch him try to testify under oath. Over time they develop tics, nervous gestures, and their throats begin to close as they choke out the lies. This was the first day.

Remember how long Leahy has been waiting.

I suggest looking for wholesale deals on popcorn.

13. Hey aquart, I'm with you. I was feeling pretty good about things
until I came here tonight. I thought dems were kicking ass. I'm willing to wait also. Shit we've lived through some tough stuff here the last 6 years. We can give it another month. A month.

9. I considered starting a thread earlier today.
Am I the only one who feels like her head is going to explode? One outrage after another...
:grr:

These treasonous, rat bastards MUST BE STOPPED! Yesterday.

I will fight to my death for my (our) Constitution. It's who I am. It's who we are. :patriot:

That said, these are frightening times we are in. Sometimes, it's palpable.:scared:

10. It's a constant struggle - pushing common good into politics.
Edited on Thu Jan-18-07 11:06 PM by The Wielding Truth
I don't think it has always been this bad. It's just that we, the people, have been put on the sidelines and it's time we get back in the middle.

It's very disgusting to see, day after day, that are beautiful dream of democratic representation has been just a cover over the corruption of the republican roots in our government.

14. Yes.
In the past few days I have actually read a couple of books and watched a few movies on the DVD player and haven't turned on the computer for hours. Next week I will be traveling far away to celebrate my dad's eighty fifth birthday and I never bring the laptop with me to those visits. I'm actually looking forward to time away from politics, even though I am sure that for the first few days I will be going through withdrawal. :) Sometimes it's just a matter of "your cup runneth over" and not in the good sense.

21. Ive been outraged for years
Its becoming my natural state.
What really ticks me off are these nutballs who rubberstamp the insanity. Its one thing to have corrupt, incompetent leaders, its another when the people fall in lockstep.

25. I reached it when Bush was selected.
Then I fueled the anger by listening to Mike Malloy. When I found myself stressed to the max, I stopped listening to Malloy and the tension headaches stopped occurring every night. Now I only have them about once a week, when I read too much about what this administration has done to this country.
