Bush Will NOT renew Domestic Spy program?
WASHINGTON (Reuters) -
President Bush has decided not to renew a program of domestic spying on terrorism suspects, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales said on Wednesday, ending an law-enforcement tactic criticized for infringing on civil liberties.

"The president has determined not to reauthorize the Terrorist Surveillance Program when the current authorization expires," Gonzales wrote in a letter to congressional leaders.

Am I the only one not buying this for a second? The jackass didn't tell us he was doing it the first time, why would anyone not believe that'll he'll give it the official heave-ho in public and keep it going under the table in private?

3. Well after Reuters false report stating Al Gore
had decided not to run in 2008 in spite of their own video, I don't know what to believe from them.

4. He WILL keep it going under the table.
They don't do anything publicly unless it's a scam. And he wouldn't say anything if they weren't getting heat on this or if they were getting good intel from this program.

5. What else does he have up his sleeve?
You can be darned sure he's not going to give this up - perhaps it won't be done in the same manner, but he's not going to give up.

8. 1. Does it even expire while he is still president? 2. How do we know he won't authorize a slightly
different program with the same methods and goals? 3. How do we know that he isn't lying about this too?
