If any of you DUers had any remaining doubts about the incoherent babbling from the lunatic in the White House listen/watch/read his interview with Jim Lehrer.

The section with the cracked egg would have been hysterically funny if we don't realise that this lunatic is simultaneously committing genocide in Iraq. Hubby started to recite Humpty Dumpty and tears of laughter were streaming down his face.

This was the worst interview ever by a US President.

Bush is trying to condition people into a constant war mentality for his "new kind of war" - where they shop (do whatever), not watch the war on TV (out of sight/out of mind) and "support the troops" (silence dissent) and give up the freedoms and liberties that really matter (national security)

He lives in a world of delusion. Yet he makes decisions that affect the lives of everyone in the world. Especially the brave soldiers that he smirkingly sends to their deaths to support his childish ego.

And you know what? There isn't a damn thing we can do about it. As far as I can tell, America is simply powerless to rid itself of this monster. We all have to just sit quietly and watch him and his vile vice president attack our country and its Constitution day after day after day after day after day. There is no remedy.

18. There was NO substance to his remarks at all..

Jim Lehrer would ask a question and the Monkey would babble for a minute or two and on and on. And that cracked egg thing - it didn't make a bit of sense.

I think we're doomed. I don't believe Congress is going to do anything to at least TRY to stop this madman. They're probably already busy raising money for their next campaign. Why should they worry what the people think?
