You owe absolutely no apology to anybody.

This is standard operating procedure for the right. But as a wife of a Retired Navy Chief I couldn't help but cheer. A niece of mine is in the Air Force, and could be deployed to theater. But most Americas ns, including you and Secretary Rice, truly don't have skin in the game.

I am convinced that if a Draft was enacted the war would come to a screeching halt, or at least would get the shopping masses to start paying attention. Yes, I know I am a little dismissive, but reality is that less than one percent of the population is in uniform, and most people do not realize that over a million people have gone through the war theaters... and quite frankly why should they? Their chances of knowing anybody personally who has gone to the sand box is anywhere from low to non-existent
