The 'Surge' Is A Red Herring
http://www.antiwar.com/roberts/?articleid=10311

The "surge" is merely a tactic to buy time while war with Iran and Syria can be orchestrated.

1. I really do not understand all this hysteria about war
with Iran. They wont do it. After all if they did it, which country is the next Republican president going to bomb and go to war with?

After 9/11, Dumbya got his "You can blow up one Muslim country to smithereens" give-me. Not only did he use it, he blew up a second one. I do not believe he is allowed to do a third and 4th.

3. The exact thought crossed my mind.
Unfortunately, I never take anything the Bush administration does or says at face value anymore. In six years this administration has turned me from trusting American to full-fledged conspiracy wacko.

4. The Republican Senate will not allow him ...

More than one Republican Senator is already balking at the surge-scelation. They would not allow Bush to start a war that would definitely require a draft and a massive mobilization of the inactive reserve.
