Kids say the darndest things and have no clue how right they are!
Edited on Thu Jan-11-07 05:35 PM by Pacifist Patriot
My 10 year old son saw the headline on our newspaper about Bush calling for additional troops. He blurted out, "mom, that guy is insane!"

I responded, "Well, I do have some concerns about his mental capacity." <understatement of the year>

My son answered with obvious derision in his voice and on his face, "so did he hit his head as a kid and lose his conscience?"

Obviously he was talking about loss of consciousness, but the slip of the tongue resulted in a truer statement. Bwa!

ETA: Correcting major grammar errors. Sorry! Exhausted from gardening all afternoon. Not exactly an endeavor in which I am used to engaging.
