House Passes Stem Cell Research Bill
however the vote isn't veto proof so it isn't goign anywhere. I have a bad feeling my Dem Congresscritter voted "no".

1. I don't think any of the bills that are passed in the first
hundred hours will ever be signed by our knucklehead president.

3. It's not ONLY Iraq for the November vote. It's a LIST of things by this admin.
Bush's approval rating can plummet more and more each day and he will still turn around and veto a bill. All for one person or corporation.

4. Not veto-proof, but the bill passed only TWO votes short.
I'll bet that with some intensive lobbying on the part of scientists and sympathetic public officials or congressmen, two votes could be had from the 176 congressmen who voted no. I really think is is a wonderful achievement by team Pelosi.
