3. They like to put Lieberman front and center on this, don't they
Joe hasn't quite wised up to the fact that they're USING him and he's going to be completely alone. Siding with the Cons now is not going to get him negotiating power on other things; they'll leave him out in the cold and put the knife in his back without blinking. And standing up trashing his Democratic caucus isn't too smart either.

Lieberman's position sure doesn't convince me that I should change my views on Iraq. Ugh! I hear him on CSPAN in the other room now.

6. It showed *'s weakness that LIEberman was the only Congressperson
mentioned in his "bipartisan working group." Why didn't he have the names of some of his Rethug buddies to add to that list? Are his pals giving him the cold shoulder?

Hold tight wait till the partys over
Hold tight we're in for nasty weather
There has got to be a way
Burning down the house

Heres your ticket pack your bag: time for jumpin overboard
The transportation is here
Close enough but not too far, maybe you know where you are
Fightin fire with fire

7. If he can't get 40 votes for this and Bush pushes ahead
We know who at least 10 of our potential votes for impeachment are

8. You can't filibuster inaction...
If the Congress refuses to take up any supplemental spending for Iraq, then that is the end of that.
